Generic image.Over the last few years, the Brody Jewish Center, Hillel at the University of Virginia, has experienced transformative growth. More students are involved in Jewish life than ever before.  The Brody Jewish Center provides resources to student groups, empowering them to connect students to Judaism in meaningful and diverse ways.  Students build relationships with other Jewish students at community social events, celebrate the holidays with their friends, learn about Judaism and Israel in mini-courses, participate in social justice opportunities, and travel the world with their peers.  Quite simply, Hillel provides the University of Virginia students with a pluralistic, welcoming, and thriving Jewish community.

Hillel needs your help to ensure that the resources are available to continue to provide high caliber programs for UVa students. Here are examples of programs that depend on the support of our donors:

$5,000 – Supports Israel programming for one semester

$2,500 – Sponsors a communal meal for students during the holidays

$2,000 – Supports a community wide social event

$1,000 - Sponsors a free community Shabbat dinner for students

$500 – Brings a scholar/artist in residence to Grounds
